El primer olivo que llegó a América con el barco de Colón, viajó desde Sevilla hasta la isla de La española (Antillas Caribeñas), muy cerca de la isla Tortuga, donde se desarrolla la historia de “Piratas del Caribe”. «Quizás el capitán Jack Sparrow o Barbosa, debieron pensar que habían bebido mucho ron, cuando vieron un árbol tan extraño».
